Onions
We pride ourselves on our Red Onions as these are our main crop we grow and supply. We supply our customers all year around. The premium product produced by Roper & Son is our “3Count”. This utilises a very particular size and shape of Red Onion which is neatly packaged in a breathable and ergonomic sleeve, flip over the label to the back to reveal our recipe to enjoy. We also supply loose red onions and a 6 pack of baby red onions, these are great roasted whole.
Beetroot
We grow 3 different types of beetroot on the farm and sell to supermarkets.

Candy Beetroot is great in salad, and adds a unique twist of flavour with its red and white stripes

Gold Beetroot is a much sweeter beetroot and is great roasted
Processed Vegetables & Small Seeds
Annually we grow pea and been crops for Watties as well as a variety of small seeds which are supplied around the world. Small seeds and processed vegetable crops are a great way to compliment our vegetable crops as they work in well with our crop rotations to help preserve the soil structure.
Pumpkin & Squash
Our pumpkin and squash is grown locally in Lincoln, Canterbury. We grow many different varieties of squash and grey pumpkin available in supermarkets from May to December annually.
Our pumpkin are great served roasted, stewed, baked, braised, steamed or cooked and cooled down for salads.
